  1. Mrs. Frisby, a widowed mouse with four little children, has been faced with a terrible problem. Her youngest son Timothy is sick and Mr. Fitzgibbon is going to start the plow. Mrs. Frisby goes to the mouse doctor, Mr. Ages, and finds out Timothy has pneumonia and cant move for weeks maybe months. If this happens either Timothy dies, or the whole family dies. Mrs. Frisby sees a crow called Jeremy and saves him from Dragon the cat. Mrs. Frisby runs into the Rats of NIMH, an rat that has been treated with treatments and is highly intelligent kind of rat. With this, they hae a plan and they go and move Mrs. Frisbys house for her and gives them back a great service. I like this book because it is suspenseful and action packed.

  2. Mrs. Frisby is a mouse with four children and winters almost over. Which means the the farmer will plow the field. Then all the sudden Timothy(one of the children) gets dangerously sick. She goes to Mr. Ages. He is a old mouse who makes medicines and what not. The medicine she got helps, but Timothy needs time to recover and the farmer is going to plow the field soon. She gets advice from an old owl who says that she must seek the Rats of Nimh. She finds these rats who are very intelligent and strong. The rats make up a plan to move her house. Mrs. Frisby overheard the farmers talking about the Rats. Mrs. Frisby warns them in return for helping her. What will happen to the Rats? Will Timothy be well ever? Read Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh to find out.
I loved this book because of the action and the mystery behind the Rats. I also never got lost or confused while reading this book. My favorite part is when Nicodemus(the rats leader) is telling the story of Nimh and they’re adventures.

  3. Mrs. Frisby, a widowed mother of four children, finds out that one of the children, Timothy, is sick. She does get him medicine, but he has to rest a while. Yet the farmer is already getting the tractor ready, and in five days, is going to start plowing. She has to think fast, but she doesn't know what to do, so she goes to Jeremy, a crow she had saved from Dragon, the cat. Jeremy said he'd go and take her to see the owl, the wisest bird in the forest, as he says. And when they get there, the owl tells her to go to the rats, a secretive group of intelligent creatures. The rats then agree to move the house, and when all seemed to be solved, there was another problem. Mrs. Frisby had heard the farmer say that exterminators were coming. The rats had to think quick. But will they have a plan before they come? And if so, will they succeed in doing the plan successfully? Find out in Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert O'Brien.
I'd recommend this book to people who like adventure and I rate this book a 9!

  4. I read Mrs. Frisby and the Rats if Nimh, and in the beginning we find that Timothy is sick. Mrs. Frisby goes and talks to Mr. Ages, who gives her medicine, and gives it to Timothy. After that, she sees Jeremy, who is stuck to a fence by silver thread, and she helps him by getting the thread and they get away from Dragon by having Mrs. Frisby ride on his back. She tells him that her sun is sick, and so Jeremy takes he to the owl. After she talks to the owl, who tells her to go to the Rats of Nimh, who will move her house into the Lee of the stone, she she does go to the Rats. After telling them who she is, they tell her what happened at Nimh and how her husband, Jonathan Frisby, died. She decides she would be the one to put in the sleeping drugs, and she gets captured by Billy and put in a cage. She hears them speaking about Dr. Shultz and Jenner, and she tells the Rats that they are coming. They move her house, after telling the shrew it was okay, and then they make a plan to escape the people from Nimh. They have everyone but 10 rats leave, the others stay behind. When the exterminators come, the ten rats run around and then leave, except for two who don’t make it and are killed by the gas.

I thought this was a very good book because it introduces a new perspective on animals, and has a great story behind it about Nimh and escaping, along with the main story of moving the house.
