Orphaned Matilda is not at all pleased when she arrives at Blood and Bone Alley to become an assistant to Red Peg the Bonesetter. She is a religious, well-educated girl who cant picture herself doing dirty chores or helping sickly patients.
Each day is very different from her former quiet life. Matildas not used to being around so many people who are coming and going, laughing and eating. Not one of them seems interested in prayer or study.
Self-centered Matilda thinks no one understands her. But Peg does, and gives her time to get used to this new way of life and teaches her through kindness and friendship. Matilda is as surprised as anyone when she begins seeing the world around her in a different way.

4. The main character's probelm is that she wants to help Natheniel so she goes to Master Theoblad and she trys to have him help Natheniel.

1. The main probelm was that Matilda did not want to be a bonesetters helper. She wanted to much more, but at the end she didn't mind being a bonesetter's helper. She was getting used to it and she like the potions and she also learned to like Red Peg.
ReplyDelete2. I was not right about my prediction I thought that Matilda was going to leave but she stayed and I also thought that Father would come and get her but she has not even heard from Father.
3. II didn't really like it, I mean I like parts of it but most I hated. I feel this way because I'm not into the bones and the blood stuff. Three examples are I'm to assist a bonesetter, and I do not want to do this, also Blood and Bone Ally.

3.I think that this book was interesting because at first Matilda had no friends and was closed off to everyone then she met Tildy and later on Muddy Walter and then started to try and help Nathaniel and more comfortable in the environment she was in.
