In Artemis Fowl, a 12 year-old boy, who is a genius. he capture a fairy, and elf, and then demands a ransom of gold blocks so he can restore his family fortune. But, when he is demanding the ransom, the fairies fight back. Artemis' bodyguard, Butler, protects him and make a team of special ops. fairies retreat, and take their gear. But when the fairies bring in a troll, the use the help of the fairy hostage to fight it. I believe this is a great book because it is a very good story, there is a lot of action, so it is very good. it is the first book in a series of six. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes action and an interesting story.
