ReplyDeleteThe lightning thief is about a boy named Percy Jackson. He goes to the greek museum and his teacher Mrs. Dodds tunes into a Monster called a Fury. His teacher who was really Chiron the centaur gives him a pen and he takes the cap off and it turns into a sword. And Percy does the only thing he can, he swung the sword and the fury turned in to dust. He went home worried and cunfused. His mom took him on a vacation. Then Rover Percys best friend came in. And he had goat legs, he said “we have to go”!!

Summary
ReplyDeleteA boy named Percy Jackson goes to Yancy academy they go to a museum and his teacher turns into bat like thing. He kills the monster and gets expelled. He goes on a bus with his friend Grover and it breaks down. Then he sees some old ladies cut yarn which means he will see someone die. He goes to his moms and they go to Mauntak beach. There is a huge storm and Grover comes to tell them to get out of there. They go to camp half blood and Percy Jackson kills Minator the but his mom dies. He goes to live at camp half-blood. A half-blood is a person who is half human half god. Percy go to many journey with is friend Grover who is a satyr which is a half human half goat and Annabeth who is a half-blood who's mom is Athena. Percy defeat many people like Medusa, Fury which was the bat like thing. He goes out too find Zeus's lightning bolt and finds out that he also needs to get Hades helm. At the end he has to fight Ares the god of War. See who wins the battle, will Percy get Zeus's lightning bolt bak in time to find out read the book.
Opinion
My opinion of this book is that it is the best book I have read ever because it is about Greek legion which I really like and there are a bunch of mythical creatures which is fun to learn about. I would rate this a 11 out of 10 because it is really exciting and makes you want to keep reading. My favorite part is when Percy Jackson kills the Minator by ripping off one of its horns.

The Lightning Thief is about a boy named Percy Jackson. Zeus thinks he stole the Master Lightning Bolt. He is going to school as if life is normal, until his teacher, Mrs. Dodds, turns into a Fury in the Museum. When the Fury flies away his life turns into chaos. His mom runs to the car and his best friend, Grover, helps him run. When they get to Camp Half- Blood in New York, his mom gets caught by the Minotaur. Percy kill’s the Minotaur and killed the Fury in the Museum. On his way to the underworld. As soon as he gets on the bus with his two friends, Annabeth and Grover who’s a satyr, go and find Percy’s mom. Soon will be the summer soloist, can Percy find the lightning bolt and return it to Zeus before then? Read to find out.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion of this book is a very good rating like a 9 out of 10 because this is an adventurous, has puzzles, and a lot of action. I think Percy really proves himself.
