My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George is my favorite book it story line is well intact and when things where going to get boring they add in some exciting part. My Side of the Mountain is about a boy named Sam Gribley runs away to live in the wild instead of living with his crazy big family. He runs away to and forest where his fore father’s once lived. He lives off the wild and makes a friend in the town who works at the library. He makes a home out of a tree and a big one that he hollows the tree and makes a bed, fireplace, and door. He meets people along the and helps them like a hiker that’s a college professor and a kid who was looking to become a reporter and publish an article about him and give away his cover. Will the police find him and return him to his family? What will happen to Sam? Read to find out.
ReplyDeleteI really loved this book and would recommend it to people who like survival and adventure books. My favorite part of this book was the ending because it gave a huge surprise, but I can’t give it away. My rank is 9 out of 10.
